Not sure whether you are inside Gainesville city limits or unincorporated Alachua County? It affects which building department issues the permit, not whether we can help.

Why local pages matter

Roofing conditions change every few miles here. Homes under the live oak canopy in Micanopy deal with more debris and shade-driven algae than new construction in Jonesville. Clay soil pockets around Newberry settle differently than the sandier lots near Hawthorne. A roofer who works the whole county knows which problems are local and which are universal.

Questions & answers

Service area questions

How coverage works, and what to expect outside Gainesville.

Do you charge extra to travel outside Gainesville?

No. Travel within our normal service area — Gainesville, Alachua County and the surrounding towns listed on this page — is included in the estimate. For addresses well beyond that, call and ask before you book.

Do you have a physical office in every city you serve?

No, and we do not pretend to. We work out of Gainesville and cover the surrounding communities with the same local roofing partners. That is why our local pages describe the housing stock, weather and permit office for each town rather than pretending we have a branch there.

Which permit office handles my roof?

Inside Gainesville city limits, roofing permits go through the City of Gainesville. In unincorporated Alachua County, it is Alachua County Growth Management. Surrounding counties — Bradford, Columbia, Marion, Levy, Gilchrist — each have their own building department. The roofing partner handles the permit, and we help coordinate it.

Not sure if we cover your address?

Call and ask. Most of North Central Florida within 45 minutes of Gainesville is inside our normal service area.
